Joint Trade Union Coordination Centre (JTUCC) has organised Youth Conference in Kathmandu. During the Conference Role of Youth in Trade Union Movement was discussed.
Inaugurating the Youth Conference, Labour & Employment Minister Dilli Bahadur Chaudhary said “Youth need to involve in the development of country, for which Employment generation within the Country is crucial and State should take necessary action for it. "
Speaking in the Conference GEFONT Secretary General said “Youth are compelled to go abroad as the Government is not paying attention to create Employment within the Country.” He emphasized that Youth are Strength of future Trade Union Movement.
Likewise, JTUCC President Ganesh Regmi stressed importance of unity to secure the rights and implementation of Laws. He said that JTUCC is good example of Unity among the Trade unions in Nepal throughout the World. And President of NTUC Khilanath Dahal said “Youth are symbol of transformation, who can play important role in social, economic and political changes.”
