The Gathering of Transport sector workers held in Kathmandu elected 23 members Independent Transport Workers' Association of Nepal (ITWAN) Bagmati Zonal committee under the Presidency of Cde. Navaraj Ghimire.
Inaugurating the programme, ITWAN vice President Cde. Thakur Ram Shrestha highlighted the problems faced by transport sector workers and also urged Government to pay the serious attention to solve these problems.
Addressing the programme,GEFONT vice President Cde. Bidur Karki said , the existing policies should be implemented effectively in order to solve the problems of transport sector workers .Cde Bidur urged with government for the compulsory involvement of trade union in transport sector policies making process.
