GEFONT Support Group Appeal to Rescue 20 Nepali workers in Qatar

20 Nepali workers working in Supply Company at Doha, Qatar have not been rescued yet. They have been working without Id card since 17 months & not provided salary since three months. So they had appealed Embassy, Labour court & CID to help for arrangement to return them back to Nepal.

One of the Victim, Jivan Khatiwada from Jhapa, Nepal Said " When they tried to file case in Labour Court against the Company,  it was found that Company was already sold and they have stopped their work since 15 days".

Among them, some were recruited through Reliance Recruitment Maharajgunj and some are from Royal Manpower after paying 60 to 80 thousand per person. And made agreement of 900 Basic and 300  meals allowance however they only got 1100 Riyal in Qatar.

GEFONT Support Group Qatar Representative Santosh Kumar Gurung met Victims and gave advice & assurance for necessary support. And GSG Qatar has appealed concerned Authorities to help the Nepali workers.
