Kathmandu, Nepal Street Vendor’s union (NEST) province 3 committee has submitted memorandum to Nepal Government with the various demands. The team, along with union president Cde. Kumar Sapkota, handed over a memorandum to Chief Minister Mr. Dormani Poudel of the Province No 3 at the Chief Minister's Office, Hetaunda on 12 August 2019.
NEST President Cde. Sapkota called for the attention of the Chief Ministerta to formulate a policy to protect and promote the profession of more than five lakha self-employed and the dependency about 1 lakh family members through out the country.
Cde. Rajkumar Shrestha Secretary General of NEST has informed, Chief Minister Poudel said the province government is sensitive to the long-term management of self-employed workers.
