Kathmandu, GEFONT affiliate union Nepal Health-Work & employee’s Unions 11th enterprise level conference of Lumbini Ran Ambika shah Eye Hospital, has been concluded in Bairahawa on 25 January 2020.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Chief Guest Cde. Hari Karki said that GEFONT has been pressuring the government and employers for effective implemention of the contribution-based social security scheme.

He also said that some of the impractical clauses of the Labor Act should be amended and the minimum wage of the workers should be increased.
Secretary of the GEFONT province -5 Cde. Humakant Kafle, Secretariat member Cde. Suresh Shrestha, Central Member of the NHWEU, Cde. Sagar Pratap Rana, President of the Eye Hospital Management Committee and members Cde. Kamalraj Joshi and Cde. Rajendra Panthi, founding president of the union, Cde. Hira Shah also addressed the conference.

The convention, has elected 9 members committee under the presidency of Cde. Krishna Bahadur Kunwar.
