General Federation of Nepalese Trade Union (GEFONT) has celebrated World Youth Day 2022 by organizing the program. The program held on August 12 at GEFONT Hall while the chief guest is GEFONT President Binod Shrestha.
Speaking at the occasion, GEFONT President Shrestha said that GEFONT has elevated the issues of class representation in politics. He opined the view that if something is wrong should be involved to correct itself. He warned that if we are not going to move forward with reform, then we should always be governed by evil.
President Shrestha held the opinion that young people should not be young by age, but also young people should be young in the terms of enthusiasm, enthusiasm for learning, etc., and held the opinion that young people interested in trade unions should snatch benefit from new technologies. GEFONT wants to include more youth in the Union and youth should take the lead saying that, He expressed his best wishes on the occasion of world youth Day.
