March 19 – Sixth GEFONT affiliate Whole Industry Trade Union, Nepal (WHIN) General Paper Enterprise Lalitpur convention has been concluded electing 11 members WHIN General Paper Enterprise Lalitpur committee on 19 March in Lalitpur.
Inaugurating the convention, WHIN Center committee President Cde. Krishna Rimal on current situation of the workers and working strategy of the Union.
On the occasion, on behalf of Highlevel Mechanism of WHIN, Cde. Krishna KC highlighted on the evolution of the union. Like wise,Cde. Mingmar Gopal Sherpa GEFONT Laitpur district President highlighted the GEFONT campaign on Social security and Solidarity fund.
The convention elected Cde. Jyoti Bhujel as President and Cde. Saroj Bista as Secretary for next two years.Likewise ,Convention has elected Cde. Bijay Basnet as Vice President,Cde.Jasuda Bista as joint secretary and Cde. Umesh Rokka as Treasurer. Convention also elected Cde. Maiya Raut and Cde. Moti raj Koirala as GEFONT representative and Cde. Janak Bista,Cde. Ram Bahadur Rai and Cde.Manoj Bista as advisors .
