March 01 - A domestic worker, Ms Sharmila Khatri who had been working since thirty one months without any salary able to receive thirty one thousand from his employer. Employer Sharada sharestha had promised her to pay 1000 per month but when Sharmila used to ask for salary ,Instead of paying salary, employer used to threaten her. Against this inhuman treatment of employer, Sharmila gave the application to GEFONT requesting to take necessary action. Based on the application, GEFONT affiliate Home Workers'Trade Union of Nepal (HUN) called employer in the office and discussed on the matter. Employer agreed to pay total salary of 31 months as contact.
