10 thousand Won per hour demanded in Korea
Migrant Trade Union MTU Korea has demanded workers wage to be 10 thousand won per hour. MTU President Uaday Rai said " comparing to the workers wage, expenses for food, shelter, education, transport etc is double, so workers wage must be increase. " He added even the Korean Economic Research has mentioned minimum expenses in korea but Government is silent in this serious issues. So he urged all workers to unite for their rights and should pressure the Government & Employers to increase wage.
He condemn Government oppression towards the migrant workers and urged the Government to implement the work permit as well as provide visa to those who have not visa.
MTU is Migrant workers Union which has been registered in Korea after the long struggle.
