January 22 - First GEFONT affiliate Independent Press workers's UnionNepal(IPWUN) Dang district convention has been concluded in Dang on January 22,2015 . The convention has elected 08 members Dang IPWUN district committee under the Presidency of Ananta R.C. Inaugurating the convention,President of IPWUN Cde. Mahendra Shrestha siad "Press workers should get equal wages as fixed by the government for other workers.Most of the workers are stll not recieved from minimum wages as fixed by the government and still deprived from their rights as provisioned in labour law ,so to achieve these rights, all press workers should be united.
On the occasion IPWUN secretary Cde.Narayan Pandey highlighted the work done by IPWUN for the rights of press workers.
On the occasion,Cde. Rajkumar chaudhary,Shanta bahadur Rawal,Cde. Thamman Adhikari,Cde.Mohanlal Chaudhary,Cde.Udayraj Acharya and Cde. Hari Bhakta Dangi are awarded for their the contribution to strengthen the union movement..
