23rd Batch Training has been commenced in the GEFONT Regular Trade Union School at Anamnagar, Kathmandu. In 5 days Training, 28 participants of GEFONT Youngest Affiliate- Bank, Financial Sector & Cooperative Union have been attending.
Inaugurating the Training, GEFONT President Bishnu Rimal said that " GEFONT has been conducting regular School to educate the Members about Trade Unions and other general issues and develop the skilled Organiser's force to organise more members in union."
President Rimal encouraged participants to make work plan after finishing the training and implement it effectively in their workplaces which will make the union strong. "Bank , Financial Sector & Cooperative Union is emerging union where there is lot of opportunity to expand and strengthen the union " He added.
He also informed that GEFONT has plan to conduct Regular Trade Union School in each GEFONT Provincial Committee and make the Central Trade Union School as Special Training Centre.
GEFONT Education Secretary Keshav Duwadi, Foreign Department Secretary Ramesh Badal and ITWAN General Secretary Bhim Jwala Rai have been facilitating the training .
