Kathamndu, UNITRAV organized interactionprogram with govenment, Employers & Trade Union in Province No 5 Lumbini.The progrma was inagurated by chief guest of the Province No 5 Industries, Tourism, Forest and Environment Minister Lila Giri.
On the occasion, Minister Giri said “The issue raised by UNITRAV on social security and labour law will be implemented”. He also expressed his commitment to restrict the foreign guide & promote Nepali guide. He further highlighted that the Nepal Government has launched tourism year 2020 & Visit Lumbini Year 2076 on this occasion the issues raised by UNITRAV are relevant so that all the concerned stakeholders has to address the issues.
On the occasion, GEFONT President Cde. Binod Shrestha said “Social Security, Labour law in tourism sector as well as 7 Points issues which has been raising by UNITRAV GEFONT will seriously initiate on it. President Shrestha further request UNITRAV leaders to concentrate on Membership increment & organization expansion.
In the program, Mayor of Lumbini Municipality Manmohan Chaudhar, Mr. Saroj Bhattrai from Lumbini Development trust, Sister Willma Roos from FNV Netherland, GEFONT province Presidnet Cde. Hari Karki aslo adderssed & emphasised the sisues raised by UNITRAV is relevants so all the stakeholdes should focous to implimnat it.
On the occasion, UNITRAV President Cde. Suman Parajuli requested all the concern bodies that the Social security Schem & New laour law has to impliment in trakking sectors in time. he also aurged workers of the sectors also have to be awared on Contributory based Social Security & New labour law.
