June 18 - On the occasion of 37th Anniversary of ITWAN, GEFONT affiliate Independent Transport Workers' Association of Nepal (ITWAN) Gandaki zone has honored the SLC Graduates organizing a ceremony in Pokhara on 19 June,2016.
ITWAN Gandaki honored Sujan Gurung From Bal Prabhat School,Urmila Tuladhar from Balodaya ,Sangam Timilsina from Amarshing namuna higher secondary and Unic Gurung from Chhorepatan with cash one thousand and five hundred . Similarly, ITWAN Gandaki handed over Rs 22500 to Cde.Gajendra Subedi ,victims of Kidney problem . ITWAN also handed over the cash to the Cde. Tikaram Adhikari, Cde. Joglal Kalidas and Cde. Ratna Kumar Shrestha who got seriously injured in road accident.
On the occasion,addressing the programme ,GEFONT Vice president Cde. Bidur karki highlighted the situation of Transport sector workers . Cde. Karki said, New constitution has addressed the issue of Transport sector workers.. . On the occasion ,GEFONT Gandaki Zonal committee President Cde. Rudar Khatri , ITWAN Gandaki Zonal President Cde. Bishnu Bahadur Khatri ,ITWAN central delegates council chief Cde. Iswor Prasad Acharya,ITWAN Secretary Cde. Karna singh Gurung ,Member Bishnu Bahadur Parajuli also addressed the programme.
