Capacity building training for GEFONT local union members

Aiming to provide knowledge on Fundamental principles & Rights at work to GEFONT local union members, GEFONT, in cooperation with ILO, organised one-3 days training on Fundamental principles and rights at work in Biratnagar has been concluded.

The training was facilited by Cde. Deepak Poudel, coordinator GEFONT Province no 1, Cde. Kishor Dhamala secretary GEFONT province no 1, Cde. Bhairab Pathak Vice President FAPWUN and  Cde. Neelam Dhungel on FAPWAUN and Agriculture workers in Nepal, Global compact and its ten principle, right to Association and collective bargaining, Forced and compulsory labor, Abolishing of Child labor, GEFONT Progrmme and policy.

Addressing the closing ceremony of the training, GEFONT secretary General Cde. Bishnu Lamsal briefed about the cooperation between GEFONT and ILO. Cde. Lamsal also highlighted on the importance of Organization

Altogether 37 GEFONT local union members from Illam,Panchthar,Taplejung,Sankhuwasabha,Terhthum,Bhojpur and Dhankuta had participated in the training.
