Whole Industry Trade Union (WHIN) Nepal had organized the awareness program regarding the labour law for the workers working in the Himal Company Limited at Union assembly Khimti on September 8.
In the program, Chief Guest WHIN President Aananda Thami stapted about the law and the overall situation of the hydropower sectoe, while GEFONT Bagmati Province President Ramhari Nepal stated about the Social Security Fund and WHIN Deputy General Secretary Arjun Kumar Chaulagain informed about the organization.
Likewise, Legal expert Bhakti Ghimire stated about the existing labour laws and how the laws cover the workers working in the hydropower. 22 members from WHIN participated in the program.
