Organising the programme in the RSS Central Office, National News Agency (RSS) has announced RSS Employee's Union. During the Programme, GEFONT President Bishnu Rimal launched the Union by reading the Banner.
Speaking in the programme, President Rimal Said "Union should work for welfare of entire workers." He also emphasised that the Media should broadcast news in favour of working people and demanded the Government to monitor the implementation of the Working Journalists Act.
During the programmee, CPN UML Central Committee Member Dr. Rajan Bhattarai stressed that Union should effectively move RSS ahead. Likewise CONeP President Biswo Nath Pyakurel said "Union should be active for welfare of all Professionals."
RSS President Kulchandra Wagle extended best wishes to the Union to work for all Employees' progress. Likewise, Dignitaries from various Organisations extended best wishes to newly formed Union.
During the programmee, Kalika Khadka has been elected as President of 9 Members Working Committee. Likewise, Kumar Dangal , Tilak Bhusal and Muna Bhandari have been elected as Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer respectively.
