April 19 - GEFONT affiliate Independent Transport Workers' Association of Nepal (ITWAN)has launched the membership expansion and union strengthen campaign in Kabhre district. According to the ITWAN General Secretary Cde. Bhim Jwala Rai, under this campaign, leaders of ITWAN visited panauti buspark area and orient transport workers on the importance of organizing. Due to this orientation, 30 additional new workers joined in ITWAN .
Similarly, ITWAN Pasang Lhamu Rajmarga Rasuwagadi Minitruck and contener unite committee has been formed under the presidency of Cde. Birendra Singh Tamang organizing a gathering .On the occasion,ITWAN Vice President ,Cde. Thakur Ram Shrestha highlighted the present situation of Transport sector workers .
