HUN organises Skill training for home-based workers

As part of the 16 Days Campaign Against Gender-Based Violence, GEFONT-affiliated Home workers’ Trade union of Nepal (HUN) has conducted vocational training on making soap, hand wash and various types of pickles.

Cde. Chandra Sagar Lama President of HUN said “Economic empowerment preserves individual freedom and socially reduces gender-based violence” on this basis HUN has been  orgazing  skill trainings for the home based workers from  Ratopul, Anamnagar, Kapan, Basundhara, Naradevi and Bhaktapur.

The training was imparted by HUN General Secretary Cde. Gyanu Maya KC, Central Committee  Member Cde. Man Kumari Rai, Bagmati Province Committee Member Cde. Laxmi Khadka and Cde. Nirmala Ghimire.
