Role of Capitalist and Workers must be taken equally: Prez Rimal

ITWAN National Policy Conference of Bus, Minibus and booking sector workers has been concluded with 27 points declaration in Butwal. The declaration emphasis on implementation of existing  law and amendment of labour act in favour of transport workers, make  clear policy  to develop labour relation of Transport Sector workers, create conducive environment for women workers etc.

Inaugurating the Conference , Chief Political Advisor of PM and GEFONT President Bishnu Rimal said " Role of Capitalist and Workers must be taken equally. Labour should be respected and rules against the workers is not accepted"

Speaking the Closing session of the Conference, GEFONT Secretary General said "ITWAN policy Conference is significant to recommend the national policy makers." He expected that policy adopted by ITWAN will be helpful to end the problems of transport sector.

 During the Conference, ITWAN General Secretary Bhim Jwala Rai, presented the paper on "ITWAN responsibility for workers prosperity and Transport policy." He also briefed about the status of transport workers, their problems and achievement made by ITWAN during 36 years.

The conference has also demanded separate law to manage transport sector minimum wage and other facilities.

278 representatives from far Eastern to Western parts attended the Conference.
