June16 - GEFONT affiliate Home Workers'Trade Union of Nepal (HUN) has celebrated fifth International Domestic workers Day under the slogan MY Fair Home by organizing various programmes in Kathmandu .
HUN organised a Gathering in Kathmandu . On the occasion, GEFONT Deputy Secretary General Cde. Janak Chaudhary highlighted the situation of Domestic workers and need of Home Workers'Trade Union in Nepal
On the occasion , 1-one day women leadership development training has been organised . Altogether 50 members of HUN had participated in the training. The training was facilitated by GEFONT women committee secretary Cde. Beli Maiya Ghale, HUN President Cde. Bindu Shrestha,and HUN Secretary Cde. Gyanu KC on Leadership and Gender Equality .
Similarly, a Candle Lighting Ceremony,was organised at Maitighar Mandala .Hundreds of GEFONT leaders including members of Hun had participated with play cards and banner.
