Kathmandu, GEFONT affiliate union WHIN has been started GEFONT Campaign on decent work by organizing gatherings in Butawal & Bardiya.
In the program chief guest WHIN president Cde. Anand Thami has trained on on Social Security fund & its planning. He also clears the working procedure regarding employers and contributors. He also emphasized that all workers should be clear on social security schemes.
Similarly, General Secretary of WHIN Cde. Dipak Acharya gave training on labour audit, why labout audit is necessary and how and who should conduct it. During the training session WHIN secretary Cde. Arjun Chaulagai brief on Labour Act 2076.
Likewise, GEFONT Province No 5 President Cde. Hari Karki informed about GEFONT Campaign & ongoing process of unification in Butawal by addressing the gathering, GEFONT Province Secretariat member Cde. Purna KC has informed about campaign and unification process in Bardiya.
In the program, support from GEFONT Solidarity fund Rs. 30,000 (thirty thousand) has handover to Cde. Thaman Bahadur Tham member who has been under treatment. Cde. Thami is member of Nepal Hydro Ltd committee.
