February 15 – First GEFONT affiliate Home Based Workers' Union of Nepal (HUN) Rupandehi district convention has been concluded in Butwal on February 15,2016 electing 09 members Rupandehi district committee under the Presidency of Cde. Hari Gahat .
Inaugurating the convention GEFONT women Committee President Cde. Goma Acharya highlighted the goals and programmes of the GEFONT. On the occasion, GEFONT Lumbini-Rapti Zonal committee President Cde. Hari karki highlighted the GEFONT campaign on Social security and GEFONT solidarity fund. HUN secretary Cde. Gyanu KC highlighted the work done by HUN for the protection of Home based workers.
