GSG Forms Khobar Raka Regional Committee in Saudi Arabia
GEFONT Support Group Saudi has formed Khobar Raka Regional Committee (Saudi Arabia Eastern Province) under the Presidency of Kiptuk Sherpa.
Shyam Sahi, Ramdular Mandal, Hiralal Sarki and Gopal Sing Tamang were elected as Vice President, Secretary, Joint Secretary and Treasurer respectively. Likewise, Lalit Mandal was elected as Senior Advisor and Basanta Mabo as Advisor.
Newly elected Committee Members took oath from GEFONT Support Group Saudi Arabia, Representative Raj Tamang. Speaking in the Programme, he extended warm wishes and informed about GSG Saudi activities to support the migrant workers in trouble. He also briefed about GEFONT Policy & Programme, GEFONT Solidarity Fund etc.
During the Programme, newly elected President Kiptuk Sherpa requested everyone to work jointly on migrant workers problems in Saudi.
