General Federation of Nepalese Trade Union (GEFONT) affiliate Union Sports union had held the gathering of workers related sports field in the assembly hall of GEFONT Lumbini Province in Butwal, in Rupandehi district. The gathering has formed 13 members of the Sports Union Nepal district committee under the presidency of Nar Bahadur Gharti.
GEFONT President Binod Shrestha was the chief guest of the gathering program and presided over by Tejendra Pandey central member of the Sports Union where leaders including GEFONT Vice President Kamal Gautam, Sports Union President Sita Lama, Hari Karki, Province President Humakannta Kafle participated in the program.
Likewise, Lumbini Province Secretary Santosh K.C has informed that a gathering held on August 17 in Kothimai Rural Municipality of Rupandehi District has formed a 9-member CUPPEC Nepal Rural Municipality Committee has been formed under the presidency of Mustakim Churidhar
