Kathmandu- General Federation of Nepalese Trade Unions (GEFONT) affiliate ICT Media & Press Professional Union of Nepal (IMPRESSION NEPAL) has celebrated its 40thAnniversary in Kathmandu. On that occasion youth gathering has been also concluded.
Chief Guest GEFONT Vice President Cde. Jitendra Shrestha congratulates IMPRESSION organising and mobilizing ICT, Media and Press Sectors. He added Digital era has been started and Workers have to upgrade their skill according to changing context of information technology sector if we couldn’t beat this challenge the country couldn’t progress. He added Youth are the future of the union and for this youths should be organised. Union must plan to provide trade union education to them.
GEFONT Province No 3 President Cde. Ramhari Nepal said that union must safeguard the achievements and make necessary plan to have more achievements in coming days also. He gave brief information of Labour Act and Contributory based Social Security Act.
IMPRESSION Nepal President and GEFONT National Committee Member Cde. Mahendra Shrestha discussed about the achievements from past 40 years. He has forwarded union policy and coming program.
