Kathmandu, sanitation workers of Bir Hospital who were working through the outsourcing company Shree Namaste Gardening Consultancy has completed.
Speaking as the chief guest at the gathering, president GEFONT Province No 3 Cde. Ramhari Nepal said that leaders who can deal the challenges of the worksite are successful leader.He argued that the employer who doesn't implement the minimum wage and labor laws, Government will compensate them accordingly. He further said that the age limit of 45 years is legally contradictory according the law.The workers involved in the meeting informed that still there is no minimum wage and the implementation of the Labor Act.
They said that the labor suppliers and the main employers,had devised a conspiracy to deprive workers at the age of 45 years from employment by ignoring the 58-year age retirement provision as per labour Act.
The program was chair by Cde. Sunita Karki, and Coordinator of Nepal Security Service Trade Union (NSSTU) Cde. Ganesh Shrestha has addressed the program.
