Kathmandu, WHIN has organized planning workshop in GEFONT School, Anamnagar on 21-22 July 2019. The workshop has formulated union plan for the future.
Speaking as the chief guest at the inaugural session of the workshop, GEFONT President Cde. Binod Shrestha said that the Nepal Independent Workers Union has made significant contribution to Nepalese labor movement in the history.Speaking on the occasion, President Cde. Shrestha said that WHIN is leading organization of all the new unions so that all the structures of WHIN should be activate.
Leaders and members not only asking for the rights & facilities from union they should internalize also about their responsibility toward union. He further informed that effective implementation of contribution based social security is mainly moving forward for this year by trade unions.

GEFONT General Secretary Cde. Janak Choudhary facilitated on the report & activities which has adopted by WHIN conference. He also briefed about GEFONT Structure. During the session he said union should emphasized on major areas of organization expansion, women's targeted programs and youth targeted programs. During the training secretary General further informed that to reform labour market we should have proper cooperation with all. General Secretary Chaudhary also trained about the Social Security Fund.
GEFONT trade union policy institute head cde. Binda pandey trained on the labour agenda of the industrial movement.
In the program WHIN former presidents, Central committee members, WHIN province committee presidents, GEFONT province president were participated in the program.In the inaugural session, of the program was chair by WHIN Central committee president Cde. Anand Thami.
