Speaking in the Seminar on "GEFONT perspective on New Constitution" in Pokhara, GEFONT Secretary General, Bishnu Lamsal said India Blockade has made severe effect on working class than capitalist. Workers in terai belt were more affected as they are not getting jobs and couldn't earn daily bread.
He further added" Time and again, India has been creating the problems by imposing the Trade blockade to Nepal which is against the UN Convention Transit Trade Right of Landlocked Country. Therefore Nepal should adopt strategy to make the Country Independent. He also said New Constitution of Nepal has incorporated many issues of workers but without analysing it Terai protest ongoing.
