The workers fromTriveni Textile in Agitation

May 15 – GEFONT affiliate - Independent Textile - Garment Workers Union of Nepal (ITGWUN) of Triveni Textile Bara has been launching the Agitation Programme demanding the fulfillment of their demands submitted on February.

Under the provision of Labour Act 1992, workers of Triveni Textile had submitted 13-point charter of demands including increment of wages on February 10, 2012.

The management did not show any positive response towards their demands  so workers were compelled to show thw unity by stopping their working hands.
