May Day celebration at Mt Everest Base Camp

May 01 – 123rd International Labour  Day has been celebrated at Mt. Everest Base Camp. Cde. Khatri Central committee member of GEFONT affiliates UNITRAV and other mountaineers addressed the programme.

In the programme participants chanted the slogans - International May Day Long Live! Long Live workers Unity and so on.

In the programme,mountaineers and  trekking workers had participated.

Cde Khatri had successfully completed previous 7 attempts, last year he had hoisted ITUC's flag under GEFONT coordinated campaign ITUC @Mt Everest 2011. 

This time Cde.Dorje will waive the flag of new GUF – IndustriALL  at top of the world the Mt. Everest.

Cde Dorje will scale the Everest with UK team-UK Adventure Peak, the same group which was together with him last year.
