Workers call-off strike in Unilever

February 15 - GEFONT affiliate- Nepal Independent Chemical & Iron Workers' Union (NICIWU) along with other trade unions called off strike in Unilever.

Unions had called on the strike from 05 Feb.2012 after being failed the negotiation between Union and Management of Unilever.

The workers of Unilever had submitted the charter of demands in November 2011 including 50% increment  salary and increment housing loan .

Now, the workers have called of strike and returned their work when Management called Union to sit  for  Negotiation. Now the Process of CBA  is going on.
