BWI-NAC Nepal Organises workshop on

December 06 - BWI Affiliates Committee Nepal (BWI-NAC) organised  workshop on "Decent work & Social Security"coverage to Construction Sectors workers in Kathmandu  on December, 2011.

Cde.Bishnu Lamsal –Deputy Secretary General presented presentation  on "Decent Work & Social Security for Construction Sectors. Similarly, Cde.Subhash Bhatnakar-Secreatry of Nirman Majdur Panchayat Sangam, Dellhi, India highlighted the issues of the Construction sectors workers and the issues to be raised by the unions.

On the occasion participants shared experiences and views on contemporary labour issues of construction sectors.

The workshop has developed a work plan for next year and finalised the issues for campaign & advocacy.

In the inaugural ceremony, various speakers, including Cde. Jeetendra Shrestha-Secretary of GEFONT, Cde.Ganesh Niroula –Vice-president of NTUCI, Dr.Sharan KC-SASK and Cde.Subhash Bhatnakar extended their best wishes for the grand success of the Programme.
