GEFONT pays homage to Com. Dilli Bahadur Rana

August  07- The General Federation of Nepalese Trade Unions (GEFONT) deeply mourns the sudden and untimely demise of Com. Dilli Bahadur Rana, Vice president of GEFONT affiliate -Independent Transport Workers' Association of Nepal (ITWAN). He expired on 6 August 2012  due to Cancer at the age of 45.  He leaves behind his wife and one daughter & two sons.

GEFONT pays homage to Com. Dilli Rana and deep condolence to bereaved family. In the funeral moment,  Com.Rana's dead body was  honored by GEFONT Flag, ITWAN Flag and  Flag of the Party.

Speaking at the moment, GEFONT President Com. Bishnu Rimal highlighted the dedicated efforts of Late Rana for strengthening the movement of Transport workers in Nepal.

Hundreds of  Trade Unionists and relatives including, GEFONT Senior Vice president Com.Binod Shrestha, Vice Presidents- Com. Udhav KC, Com.Haridatta Joshi, Com.Bina shrestha, GEFONT Secretary General Com. Umesh Upadhyaya, Com.Kirshna Gopal Shrestha, Valley in-charge CPN(UML) and other GEFONT National Executive Committee members paid heartfelt tributes. Most of the ITWAN leaders and activists presented in Valley, were in Aryaghat(Funeral Place)for last farewell to Late Rana.
