Interaction on GEFONT Publication and Publicity concludes

July 15- GEFONT Department of Publicity, organised an interaction program between its affiliate unions. The objective of program was to discuss effective operation of the GEFONT publication & publicity of its work. Chief Guest Cde. Umesh Upadhyaya, Secretary General of GEFONT said that it is very important to publicise the labour supporting activities done by GEFONT and its  affiliates in an effective way;  so that message could be reached to everyone on time. 

General Secretary further added that today the world has moved ahead in the sector of information technology, if GEFONT and affiliated unions can updated and adopt these new technologies, efforts made by the GEFONT and the unions can be well publicized not only within the country but also throughout the world.

During the programme, GEFONT Secretary Cde. Jeetendra Shrestha informed about the circulation of GEFONT weekly updates which includes labour news in GEFONT english & nepali website, weekly audio & video news, and publication of Shramik Khabar ( Labour Magazine). The leaders from various affiliate unions had given different advices for the effective publications and publicity.

Secretary Member of veteran unionist network and Sub Editor of Shramik Khabar (Labour Magazine). Cde. Kabindra Sekhar Rimal also addressed the interaction program and highlighted the importance of publicity of activities in the world of the work  through different format like audio, video and written format.
