Training on Reproductive Health and Maternity Care Concludes

July 01 -Training on Reproductive Health and Maternity care organised jointly by GEFONT affiliate Independent Garbage Cleaners Union (IGCUN), Nepal Independent Chemical and Iron Workers Union (NICIWU) and CoNep affiliated Nepal Electricity Authority Employees Union (NEAEU) has been concluded in Kathmandu. The aim was to minimize health hazards of women at workplace and to create awareness on Legal provision for Gender Base Violence.

During the training the discussion was made on provision on Law against Gender Base Violence, Reproductive Health and Maternity Care, Maternity Care and provision of facility in the world and ILO Convention No 183. Advocate Bishnu Maya Bhusal- Supreme Court, Cde.Janak Chaudhary,Deputy General Secretary GEFONT and Cde. Sita Lama , National Committee Member- GEFONT facilitated the sessions.

The training was inaugurated by Cde. Umesh Upadhyaya Secreatry general of GEFONT. Altogether 41 from kathmandu valley had participated in the programme.
