Workshop on Organising Strategy concludes

April 15- Two days workshop on Organising strategy has been organised in Bhakatpur Guest House. The main objective of the workshop was to discuss to plan effective organising strategy and sharing the different National and International practices.

During the workshop, GEFONT President Bishnu Rimal briefed the different organising strategy & tools used in the past and lesson learned. The participants were asked to discuss best practices & lesson  which could be suitable in the changing context.

Resource person Mr. Rajendra Acharya presented the role of organisers and shared the UNI Global experiences in organising and education. He also made comparison between the major Confederations. Likewise, Resource person Dr. Sharan K.C from SASK  presented Learning Model of organising and international practices.

The workshop basically focused on the role of Organiser, Educator, Negotiator and Activists and their relation.

The workshop also discussed GEFONT education system. The participant analysed different education materials, tool kits and reviewed & discuss which materials would be appropriate & which is needed in the changing context. The workshop also listed out the needs and contents of education materials for organizing.

Making concluding remarks GEFONT President Rimal said “the outcome of the workshop will be tested and implemented particularly in Textile & Garment Sectors Federation- ITGWUN”
