Sept 28- Responding the theme of ITUC- Job for young People; for brighter working days; GEFONT is marking world day for decent work by organising a one day interaction programme. The programme is entitled- Nepali Youth Say- Decent Work– Yeah! Precarious Work- Nay!
The programme will be participating by above 100 selected youth from GEFONT movement and Youth & Student unions, women association and media world.
There will three presentations in the programme:
• Key-note presentation by GEFONT President Cde Bishnu Rimal
• Discussion on a book prepared by Ex-tourism & culture minister Cde Pradip Gyawali, who is one of the promising youth politicians. He has written a inspiring book for GEFONT youth committee entitled- The Youth, in the context of Labour and labour movement; and
• Statistical analysis by the Governor of Central Bank Dr Yubraj Khatiwada, who is one of the prominent economist as well as ex-vice-chair of National Planning commission.
Besides, there will be two international speakers- one from Bangladesh and another from the Sweden. Both of them will share the experience of their respective continent.
